You are on a roll, mister. "The Straight Story" is one of my favorite films. There are scenes in this film that are perfect, just perfect.

There was the scene when he bought the supplies and they had the little exchange over "The Grabber." Classic David Lynch there.

I'm with Simon, too, though I think we all know he's wasting his breath.
The Straight Story is excellent. I did hear one complaint about the fact that there's smoking in it, and I thought: Have things gotten that stupid? It's not like the movie promotes smoking - it's just that the movie takes place in real life on the planet Earth.
