Am I Happy Now? - UPDATED

Before the election, I expressed to friends my concern that perhaps the Republicans might prevail in spite of the apparent lapse of woeful ignorance and jingoistic gullibility that has plagued the electorate for the last 12 years, Clinton being the exception. I still think that the '04 elections were rigged in Ohio and Florida and have every reason to believe they could do it again. That, and their now famous dirty tricks.

It wasn't enough this time.

There is so much work to be done, and we will still have to contend with the aggressively ignorant and the enthusiastically evil, but we are finally moving in the right direction.
