HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I'm thankful that this country has finally started to wake up. We've a long road ahead, but at least we are heading in the left direction.

I hope the holiday was great for you and yours.

I assume a bottle or two of good wine was consumed?

Indeed. My brother brought over two $25 bottles of wine (supplied by a cousin in IA who has a wine cellar!) - a delicious Sangiovese and fine red zin. My wife had one glass of the Sangiovese (she was feeling a bit under the weather sadly and then was annoyed the next morning when she found out we didn't save her any of the Zin...) and we demolished the rest.

I'm thankful too. It took a long time and a lot of damage has been done, but it feels like the long, national nightmare is beginning to end.

A toast to remind us of these wacky political times: "To the Morans who are finally getting their brains - cheers!"
