Title This Post
First I wanted to call it The End is Surely Near - then I changed it to This Just in From Hell.

While I like your second choice, I think I'd title it, "It's the End of the World." (I keep picturing Doodles Weaver as the drunk in the diner, in Hitchcock's The Birds, saying it over and over in an Irish accent.)
You've got to give props to whoever did the arrangement of "Teen Spirit" ... it's kickin.
No way man.
what bugs me the most is anka changes th' line "load up on pills" to "load up, load up."
when you think about that fact in its entirety it makes this whole "appropriation" the opposite of the knowing, nudging postironic chucklefest it's aiming to be.
It turns it into something so cynical that most people wouldn't even understand.
